The Sea Wolf Mutiny

Ecstatic Indie Rock

The Sea Wolf Mutiny is an Indie Rock outfit operating out of Columbia, South Carolina. Led by the unique and penetrating vocals of lead singer and keyboardist Bobby Hatfield, the four piece puts out an ectstatic sound that draws the listener into the world they are creating.

Formed in late 2008 in a shed outside of guitarist Danny Oakes' house, the band started as an experiment fueled by curbside philosopy, beer, and hot summers with no air conditioning. When the founding member and first drummer Joel Eaton moved to pursue a career in New Hampshire, the band reformed, absorbing Dave Ohlman on bass and Phil Kearse on drums before playing their first shows in late 2009.

Now, two years later, The Sea Wolf Mutiny is finally ready to release their debut album "The Last Season", which was recorded at Archer Avenue Studios by Kenny McWilliams.  An examination of our modern life and the disconnected nature of urban existence it was made possible by the generous support of fans through a Kickstarter campaign where they raised over $2,000 dollars by preselling the album.

"The Last Season" is set to be released August 12th 2011.

Foley

Foley is a indie/rock band from Columbia SC, formed in 2010.  We formed out of a common desire to create honest heart felt music. That turned out to be a lot of simple progressions,  ruining vocal chords, and confessing sins  - following in the footsteps of Brand New and mewithoutYou.  After writing a few songs we played them at a house show and decided to record them.

So we spend 3 days in a lake house and recorded 4 songs with Michael Mcfadden. They turned out dirty and simple. We got asked to play a show a month or two later and added Kent our bass player. Then we put it out as an EP for our friends. Sold/gave away about 50 of them in spring 2010

Recorded our next EP with 5 songs, just because we had them, and wanted to recorded them, so we did basically the same thing in a warehouse. Will mixed them down and we put out our second EP last fall of 2010, just on bandcamp for free download.

Since doing our own recordings we decided to go into a legit studio and see what comes out. We are pumped to have our first studio EP - "Betrayer" out August 12th 2011.

For the better part of the last decade Ben Walker has been a driving force in the South Carolina music scene, playing in several bands (Ben Walker Radio, The Silent Anthem) and consistently promoting great artists.  These days, Walker has settled into focusing on his family and his new band, Rejectioneers.  Rejectioneers sound can best be described as emotive indie rock that stands the test of time by being honest and forthright.

Ben Walker is joined in Rejectioneers, by guitarist Christian Tyler, who in addition to being one of the most tasteful guitarist you'll ever hear, has been just as active in Columbia music as anyone in the last 10 years.  Tyler and Walker are also joined by Brandon Kean on bass. Kean, who is the youngest of the group, is known around town as one of the most talented bass players, having played with former Columbia powerhouse Marry a Thief.  The band is rounded out on drums by Chris Carroll and Kenny McWilliams on guitar.  After playing in Madison Fair in the early to mid 2000's, drummer Chris Carroll spent 2007-2009 playing with national metalcore act Inhale Exhale. In addition to being one of the founding members of Baumer, McWilliams recorded the Rejectioneers newest EP in his recording studio, Archer Avenue Studio.

Having released songs in 2010 and 2011 on the annual SceneSC Sampler, Rejectioneers first EP and full length album has become highly anticipated by their loyal fanbase.
